Hunger Games Simulator is an independent web tool for people who enjoy randomized arena storytelling. The goal is simple: make it easy to build a custom roster, run a dramatic simulation, and share the result without an account, download, or complicated setup.
Who Built This Tool?
This site is maintained as an independent web project by a small developer-led team. The simulator is built with Next.js and TypeScript, and the simulation logic runs in the browser so players can customize tributes quickly and keep control of their local data.
Why It Exists
Most Hunger Games-style simulators are fun because they turn a list of names into a surprising story. This project focuses on making that setup more flexible: custom attributes, custom portraits, random seeds, share links, challenge runs, and custom event libraries all help the simulation feel more personal.
It is designed for friend groups, classroom-safe activities, fandom rosters, original characters, tournament-style challenges, and anyone who wants a quick browser-based story generator.
Fan-Made and Unofficial
Hunger Games Simulator is a fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Lionsgate, Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games franchise, or BrantSteele. Names and references are used only to describe the simulator format that players search for and recognize.
How Your Data Is Handled
The simulator does not require an account. Tribute names, uploaded images, custom settings, game history, and event libraries are stored locally in your browser where possible. Uploaded tribute portraits are processed in the browser for gameplay and sharing features; they are not uploaded to a user account.
The site may use privacy-conscious analytics in production to understand broad usage patterns and improve the experience. For details, read the Privacy Policy.
How the Project Improves
The simulator is updated based on usability fixes, SEO maintenance, performance improvements, and new gameplay ideas. Recent work has added sharing, challenge links, custom events, multilingual pages, hreflang support, and stronger guide content. You can see the important milestones in the Changelog.
