1. Scope and operator

This policy explains how Hunger Games Simulator handles information when you use hungergamessimulator.net. You can use the core simulator without creating an account or providing an email address.

2. Information stored on your device

The simulator uses browser storage, including localStorage and IndexedDB, for core functions. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

  • tribute names, portraits and attributes;
  • simulation settings, seeds, custom events and event packs;
  • game history and interface preferences; and
  • your privacy choice and the date it was saved.

3. Share links and information you enter

When you create a share or challenge link, roster data is encoded in the URL fragment (the part after ā€œ#ā€). Browsers do not send that fragment to our web server or analytics tools, but anyone who receives the link may decode and view it. Do not enter sensitive information, real-world contact details, or private images as tribute data.

4. Consent and necessary storage

Necessary browser storage supports the simulator and remembers your privacy choice. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Googleā€™s certified consent management platform (CMP) handles choices for Google advertising and analytics; elsewhere, our site privacy panel controls optional technologies. The Google CMP code may load before a choice only to display and record the consent message, while optional storage and measurement remain denied by default. Site-panel choices expire after 180 days. Rejecting optional categories does not disable the core simulator.

5. Analytics

Google Analytics 4 loads under Consent Mode. Before you consent, it may send cookieless, aggregate measurement signals; after consent, it may store analytics cookies and process technical and usage data such as page URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device information, and interactions with site features. If you consent to analytics, we also load Microsoft Clarity to review aggregate UX signals such as dead clicks and rage clicks. We use these tools to understand site performance and improve the service. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in our configuration. Simulation pages do not load analytics.

6. Advertising and third parties

Google AdSense is connected to this site and deploys Googleā€™s certified CMP for applicable European visitors. When advertising is permitted, Google, Adsterra and their respective partners may place or read cookies and use pixels, web beacons, IP addresses, browser details and advertising identifiers to deliver, measure and protect ads. Adsterra advertising is limited to a small set of reviewed editorial pages. We do not send tribute names, uploaded images, roster data or URL fragments to advertising providers.

7. Storage, sharing and retention

Locally stored simulator data remains on your device until you delete it in the simulator or clear the siteā€™s browser data. Privacy choices remain for up to 180 days. We do not operate an account database for simulator data. Analytics and advertising providers process data under their own retention and security practices and may act as independent data controllers or processors under applicable law.

8. Your choices

  • Use ā€œCookie Settingsā€ in the footer to accept, reject or change optional categories at any time. Revoking a previously granted category reloads the page to remove active third-party technology.
  • Clear cookies and site data in your browser to remove locally stored simulator data and the saved privacy choice.
  • Use browser privacy controls or provider opt-out controls where available.
  • Contact us to ask a privacy question or report data that should not appear on the site.

9. Childrenā€™s privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal contact information from them. A child under 13 should not enter personal information or upload identifiable photos. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal information should contact us so we can investigate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or its providers change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before the related technology is enabled.
